FIRST VIDEO CONFERENCE (4/11/20)
The First video conference was a very interesting and memorable interaction. It was very fascinating knowing about how the other school was managing waste at their school. We came to know and learned many stuff and are very thankful for it.
SECOND VIDEO CONFERENCE (03/02/2021)
The second video conference was a successful interactive session. I loved talking with the Carmel college pupils. It was interesting to learn about their school methods and sharing our thoughts with them. We all had different thoughts but also some similarities. I found this conference very informative and fascinating.
similarities
We do produce a lot of waste like they do but that's a problem almost every school has. Both the schools have almost the same methods to segregate waste which is throwing the dry and wet waste separately.
Dissimilarities
What we saw was that their site layout is very different from our site. They have a very nice site. The division of tasks was a really nice idea to put. The Netherlands pupils introduced themselves and told a bit about how their school looks like. They explained their school policy and told about the rubbish produced at their school and even provided methods to limit waste at school.
REFLECTION
Both the schools could do better at producing lesser waste than what is produced by simply following the 3 Rs that is reduce, reuse and recycle.
Our interviewers palak and gauri interviewed 6 pupils and questioned about how can they help reduce the work of the housekeeping staff of the school, how much waste is produced in the school, methods to reduce waste at school and more interactive questions. They also interviewed the housekeeping supervisor of the school and asked him about how is the waste segregated and managed at school and also about how the waste produced at school is eliminated.
